Spencer Brook Music Festival
- Since 1986 the Spencer Brook Music Festival in Concord, MA, has offered music students an unrivalled week of music-making in an atmosphere of fun and friendship. Our young musicians – elementary through high school age – play in small chamber music groups and also in orchestra, practice in technique workshops, get individual coaching, and enjoy student and faculty performances. After lunch there is recreation – soccer, Frisbee, and informal chamber music and coaching until 2:15. An extended day option is available until 5:00 PM.
Festival Director Paul Leder leads a faculty of dynamic musicians, noted internationally for their excellence as performers and teachers.
At the Spencer Brook Music festival, there is a place for all string students--whether they are dedicated players, ready to play in a Beethoven string quartet, or they are simply coming back to the instrument after taking a summer break from their music.
